Fox Trot -The Silver Fox Trot is a dance with a wonderful
feeling of continuity and movement which enables you to glide around the
dance floor with the skill and control of a proficient ice skater. Yet,
when necessary, Fox Trot can be confined to smaller dance floors.

Waltz – The Waltz gives dancers the nicest kind of
chance to practice balance and to move lightly with ease.

Tango – Considered the dancers dance, the Tango
is one of the most beautiful of all the dances and is earthy and one of
the most dramatic.

Quick Step – Considered the ragtime Foxtrot, the syncopated
movements are infectious and rhythmic and makes you think of the Charleston
in the twenties of old.

Rumba - The Rumba is a dance that shows off the man’s
strength and the lady’s femininity. The man creates the frame through subtle
movements and leads in which to present the lady in open position where
her hands, head and us of Cuban Motion enhance the total look of the
dance.

Cha Cha – Probably the most popular Latin dance in
the U.S. It began as part of the Mambo, was easy to learn, infectious, and
demands that sitters become dancers on the floor.

Samba – The South American Waltz sparkles, happy and
bubbly, and thus develops effervescence and spontaneity when danced today.
This dance is sensuous and yet can move you do dance, even if you don’t
know all the steps.

Mambo - The wild feeling within you that has to be
released with certain restraint will explode in a harmony of movement in
the Mambo.

Swing (East Coast) – Originally called the Lindy,
swing enables you to express your own personality through the various movements
and syncopation’s of the patterns. Swing can provide as much or as little
exercise as you want depending on the tempo of the music and your mood at
the movement.

West Coast Swing – Officially the “California State
Dance “, many couples start and stay in this dance for the rest of their
lives. This is a slot dance and is danced to music from jazz to country
rock. It has many variations as it does styles in movement.

Hustle (Slot Hustle) – The Hustle gives us the fusion
of Swing and Disco

Night Club Two Step – A true nightclub romantic couples
dance, this is a lady’s choice and has many movements of interest to all
that dance it.

Country Western Two Step – Considered a sloppy fox
trot, in the ballroom community, this dance has crept into ballroom and
is quite a nice relaxing break from the other ballroom dances. Bouncy
and yet smooth in movements, this dance can get your adrenaline pumping
on the dance floor.

Bolero – The Bolero is a smooth, sophisticated, sentimental
love dance. The emphasis is on smoothness and grace with much communication
between partners. The slower music, to which it is performed, enhances
a feeling of romance.

Viennese Waltz – The splendor of Waltz is epitomized
in the elegant and graceful of this dance. The gliding, turning movements
suggest that the dance is skating on ice. The dance brings to mind
chandeliers and lovely ladies in their flowing gowns dancing to the lilting
sound of Strauss waltzes.
